A lot of businesses have a ‘charity of the year’ and whilst my blog isn’t a business I thought I would select a charity that myself and those who read this blog (if they wish to) can support throughout 2019.
The charity that I have chosen for this year is Cancer Research UK. I have chosen this charity for a number of reasons, primarily because I have lost 2 members of my family to cancer and it’s one of those things that you dont really think will happen to you or your family and then one day it does.

Each month I am going to try and undertake a different challenge which I will blog my progress for and if you wish to you can support the cause by donating/ sponsoring me.
Until the 31st of March you will also be able to donate by text. If you want to donate via text straight to my fundraising page all you have to so is text SHFF98 and an amount of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070 – it’s that simple!
I have set a target of £150 to raise before the end of the year which I think is achievable.
Tomorrow I will discuss more about what the first challenge of this year is that I will be undertaking…
