Fitness Friday: Starting Over

I had this sudden realisation whilst staying with my parents for Mother’s Day that my diet and fitness is definitely not as good as what it should be. It is no secret that I use to be a lot thinner and I was a lot more active whilst I was at school. However it is almost 10 years (now I feel old) since I left school and in those ten years a lot has changed.

I have become a lot less active and I don’t necessarily make the best choices when it comes to the things I eat.

This is changing and in some respects it already has.

I have re joined the gym and I am trying to make better decisions when it comes to the things I eat. I am also trying to drink more water. I have realised that the older I get the more I need to think about what I am putting into my body as well as what I am doing to look after it.

Starting from Monday, I feel that the start of a new week is te best time to start something new, I will be documenting the changes I am making and the differences it has on my body and health. I will post these updates every week on a Friday.
